Clinical Psychology Services

  • Clinical depression, anxiety, panic and other mood disorders
  • Coping with and/or adjusting to life stresses and transitions
  • Relationship and family stress (partners, parenting, intergenerational/intrafamilial conflict)
  • Health and reproductive issues and infertility, including pregnancy and neonatal loss, termination of pregnancy, ante-natal and post-natal depression and anxiety, menopause, coping with fertility treatment’ and matters related to the use of donor gametes and embryos.
  • Post-adoption concerns, from the perspectives of birth parents, adopted persons and adoptive parents
  • Grief, bereavement and life crises
  • Other issues more common to women, including early childhood sexual abuse, domestic violence, juggling multiple roles, poor self-esteem and confidence.
  • Supervision of clinical psychologists, psychologists and counsellors (excluding those seeking registration)

Interventions are evidence-based and determined according to the individual needs of clients and their particular circumstances. My therapeutic approach is influenced by a number of psychodynamic and systemic models, Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Mindfulness approaches and Schema Therapy.
